All About Coupons for Dog Food

How much does your pet dog means to you? Well, if it means the whole world then you must be very cautious especially when it comes to its nutrition. Let’s face it, commercial dog foods may sound nutritious but most of them contain animal by-products that are not good not just for your puppy’s health but for the entire dog population in general. This may lead to dry skin, heat rashes and other health problems that will give your dog so much discomfort especially puppies during the most fragile state of their life. Hence, it is always best to go natural and to stick to organic products. However, this can be very costly. There is one trick to still feed the best nutrition to your little canines without robbing the bank and that is by making a homemade food recipe. Below are some recipes.

Chicken Jerky

In this recipe, you only need 2-4 chicken breasts. Initially, you will need to preheat your oven up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Allow its fat to drain so you can get rid of it. It is also best to slice it into strips in about 1/8 inch thick and bake it for 2 hours. When the chicken meat becomes hard and dry, allow it to cool before feeding it to your dog. You can store this using an airtight container and this will be good for consumption for 2 weeks.

French Cohen Diet

You need to prepare plain non-fat yogurt, diced blueberries, diced strawberries and applesauce, all in ½ cup servings. Then in a medium size bowl, mix all ingredients until yogurt becomes smooth. Make sure that the fruit has been blended well. You can store this in the ref for a span of 1 week. Small serving is needed.

Frozen Yogurt Pops for Dogs

Do you know that even dogs love frozen treats? The best sign is seeing your pet chasing ice cubes around your kitchen. Hence, this recipe can be a great way to break the usual puppy’s diet routine. This has essential vitamins and nutrients that are good for your little canine. Hence, it is not just delicious but very nutritional as well. Ingredients needed are 6 oz. of plain yogurt (preferably non-fat), minced carrots (1/2 cup) and 1 cup fruit juice (no sugar added). All you need to do is to mix all the ingredients well until they are well blended and smooth. Then, drop them on ice cube trays in spoonful sizes. Once frozen, you can serve it to your puppy.
